Choose a suitable setup
Review the application, workload, storage and expected usage. Recommend an infrastructure plan with clear provider charges and management responsibilities.
A Virtual Private Server gives your website or application a defined server environment with more control than a basic shared hosting account. The value comes from suitable sizing, secure configuration and clear responsibility for ongoing operation.

Review the application, workload, storage and expected usage. Recommend an infrastructure plan with clear provider charges and management responsibilities.
Inventory the website, files, databases and DNS changes. Plan migration checks and a rollback approach before scheduling the move.
Agree monitoring, patching, backups and support coverage. Separate the infrastructure provider’s commitments from our management responsibilities.
Infrastructure with clear responsibilities behind it. These are the situations we discuss with you before recommending a scope.
Resource limits, inconsistent response times and limited configuration control can make a growing website harder to operate. Moving to a VPS without understanding the application can simply move the same problem to a different server.
We review software requirements, traffic expectations, storage and current constraints. Sizing and configuration are proposed around the workload, with infrastructure costs and management responsibilities explained separately.
A VPS does not automatically decide who installs updates, manages access, checks backups or investigates incidents. Operational tasks can be missed when each party assumes another provider handles them.
We define the division between the infrastructure provider, our agreed management work and your business. Updates, application changes, monitoring, backups and support coverage are documented in the proposal.
A move can involve files, databases, DNS, SSL and connected services. Missing a dependency or switching traffic without a fallback can interrupt orders and enquiries.
We plan the move around an inventory, target-environment checks and a practical rollback approach. Change windows, DNS ownership, limitations and post-migration checks are agreed before traffic is switched.
We start with the application: supported software, data size, traffic expectations, connected services and limitations of the existing setup. This helps identify a suitable environment and any application work still needed. Infrastructure capacity and application performance are related, but adding resources is not a substitute for investigating the workload.
The agreed setup can include web stack configuration, database arrangements, SSL, access controls and backup configuration. Provider-specific capabilities and recurring charges are identified early. We discuss where backups are stored, what they include and who handles restoration. Any monitoring and maintenance arrangements are defined as operational tasks rather than assumed features.
Migration is managed as a handover rather than a single file copy. We review data and settings, check the target environment, agree the switch and verify important journeys afterwards. Ongoing management can cover the specified routine tasks and reporting. Any service commitment, escalation process or SLA is stated in writing.

We connect resource decisions with software requirements and operational expectations. CPU, memory and storage are considered alongside growth, backups and provider constraints. We explain where a workload may require application changes instead of assuming a larger server will solve every problem.
Our focus includes the agreed web stack, database, SSL, firewall and administrative access setup. The provider and management boundaries determine what is included. Account ownership and recovery access are recorded so the environment remains manageable after the initial configuration.
We map the dependencies around a move and agree checks before changing traffic. Backup retention, maintenance windows, monitoring and incident handling are explicit responsibilities. Support commitments are based on the written agreement rather than implied by the word enterprise.
We agree review points before implementation, so you can understand what the work covers and how it will be handed over. These are typical items we discuss when preparing your proposal.
Resource charges, provider availability commitments, control-panel licences and optional backups are identified separately. Management coverage and response times are agreed in writing; no universal uptime or capacity guarantee is implied.
These are the typical areas we discuss for this service. Your written proposal confirms exactly what is included, the milestones and the cost. Third-party subscriptions, licences and services are identified separately.

Agree the provider, server costs and management scope.
Configure the environment and migrate in an agreed window.
Check the application and confirm backup and support arrangements.
Share your technology stack, existing hosting, storage usage and current issues. We will discuss access through a secure channel after the project is agreed.
CPU, memory and storage are only part of a VPS decision. Someone must handle access, operating system updates, application changes, backups and incident investigation. We identify which responsibilities belong to the infrastructure provider, which belong to us and which stay with your business. That division forms part of the proposal.
Moving a website involves files, databases, DNS and sometimes email-related settings. We review the current environment and agree checks before switching traffic. Where feasible, the old environment is retained during the transition so there is a defined rollback approach. Any unavoidable maintenance window or third-party dependency is discussed before the move.
Choose the tools for the outcome you need. We review your existing setup and explain compatibility, access and support responsibilities before work begins.

Custom functionality, databases and business workflows.
Responsive interfaces, accessible pages and customer journeys.
Framework, dependency and deployment review before an agreed development or care scope.

The proposal states whether infrastructure is billed directly by the provider or included in a package. Server charges, licences and management fees are clearly separated.
Backup frequency, location, retention and restore responsibilities must be agreed. A VPS alone does not imply that backups are configured.
Any SLA must be explicitly included in the signed proposal. We do not promise an uptime percentage or around-the-clock support unless that coverage is contracted.
Tell us whether you need a new website, a repair, an online store or ongoing maintenance. Share your current website address if you have one. We will review your request and contact you to discuss the scope.
